Desktop-Reminder is a freeware task planner for Windows to manage your tasks and other to-dos in easy way. Always during start of Windows it lists all tasks, which are urgent for that day. In case, there is additionally time of day in task defined, according notification message will be shown, when the time comes.

There are two advantages of using Desktop-Reminder instead of other task planner:

1. You can be notified even few months earlier about your task. In such a way you are able to quit every long-term contract (i.e. contract cellular phone) right on time.
2. There is no need to input annoying begin/end time of day for the task - who cares, at what time is grandma’s birthday? You win simplicity of use.

If you define time of day for the task, you can be adequate early notified (in the range of one minute to few hours) about your task. You don’t miss your favorite TV-program and you don’t bid too late on eBay.

Display Changer changes the display resolution, run a program, then restore the original settings. It can also change the resolution permanently and rearrange the monitors in a multiple monitor setup. I originally wrote this application for my children because they had programs that require 640×480 with 256 colors or 800×600 with 32-bit color or some other combination. I didn’t expect my (then) 4-year-old to be able to change Windows display settings, so I wrote this program to do it automatically. Now, of course, it does much more.

Display Changer allows you to change your desktop width, height, color depth, and refresh rate (frequency) temporarily or permanently (via command line switches). You can have Display Changer run another application in a specific display resolution and return to the previous resolution when the application finishes. Command line switches let you alter only certain settings and choose the best refresh rate (or a specific one).

Display Changer is free for personal and educational use.
